Emazingly sweet: Worldly foods - Yogurtland

I contemplated not sharing this with you all given that it is something completely westernised but I cannot keep this from all my friends that may never get the opportunity to travel to the states. YogurtLand!!

A friend of mine from the gym told me about this place before I left for Hawaii. Healthy yoghurt in lots of flavours with the cold rock experience of adding your mix in’s. The concept hooked me and I was excited to try this anyway but when I actually got there it blew my mind. The flavours included red velvet cupcakes, devil food cup cake batter, double cookies and cream, fresh strawberry, New York Cheesecake, Pecans, vanilla bean, papaya...but most importantly ghiradelli dutch chocolate!!!

Now for those of you who haven’t been introduced to the ghiradelli experiene this is my favourite hot chocolate/chocolate brand that was initially very hard to get in Australia however as time is passing it is becoming more accessible (Woolworths, Target). I will review ghiradelli later- but back to the yoghurt!
You choose your flavours of yoghurt and then your mix in’s. Imagine everything at cold rock, sprinkles, cookie dough, lollies, chocolates etc but then add in, ghiradelli chocolate sauce, sweet and condensed milk, reece’s peanut butter syrup, fruits, oreos, red velvet cup cakes, jelly (jello), coconut, granola (muesli) etc(I hope you are getting the idea) You purchase it by weighing your creation at the end. It costs 49c an ounce.

I tried, pecan, red velvet cup cakes, devil chocolate cup cake batter and of course ghiradelli with ghiradelli white and dark chocolate sauce and it cost $2.51. For those of us who are health conscious it works out roughly 20 calories per ounce. So for my delicious snack along the beach front of Waikiki – 100 calories!!!! That is it. You really do have to experience this if you ever get the opportunity. In the interim, I have no idea as to why Australia hasn’t cottoned on to this idea but if someone would kindly lend me $400k I will start it up in Australia.   Yogurtland is emazingly sweet.
