Basic Biscuit recipe


Ingredients:
1 Cup SR
1 Cup Plain Flour
2/3 cup caster sugar
1 egg
Pinch of salt
½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
125grams of butter


Method:
Cream butter and sugar together until pale and combined.
Add egg and vanilla essence and mix.
Add sifted flours and salt and mix.
Roll out the dough and get creative.
Cook on 180 degrees for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Tips:
When using cutters make sure you dust your working surface with flour to ensure the dough does not stick. 
Don’t roll the dough to thin.
